Pete,

Can you answer multiple question in a single post? Be easier to locate your answers. Or are you trying to get your post count up?

Pete,

What do you project your grade for this class will be, taking into consideration especially how many of the top local kids we land?

How do you stack Wyche up as a player?

Very gifted physical but is raw. Will be able to match up physically as soon as he gets here, but I think people need to slow down already placing him into a starter's spot for next year

Pete,

I'm hearing from a very prominent source in the Miami area who is around the situation regarding the recruitment of Dalvin Cook that Cook is basically paid for by FSU and he is just playing the game to cover his a**, by taking a visit and acting like he is unsure about where he will end up. Have you heard anything similar to this?

Heard he was paid for by UF as well, so if he can sell out one team, why not sell out another...

Are you feeling like Cook is closer to flipping to UM then some other "experts" are predicting?

I still think FSU has the edge, but have also felt that people have downplayed the fact that his blood brother is an athlete at Miami. I can't get inside of his head, but feel like a lot will hinge on this OV. Staff has been trying to get him on campus for months unofficially and it hasn't come to fruition

Another question, I read that his grandmother is a huge factor in his recruitment so do you know how she feels about UM?

What is the deal with Demetrious Jackson? Is he committed or not? Also, do we have a legit chance with Kiy Hester? We need safeties in the worst way.

Thanks, Pete

He has been adamant in the fact that he is still committed and told me last week that he will most likely be sticking because he wants to be close to his family. I also think that his definition of "committed" is different from our definition.

Yes, there is a legitimate shot with Kiy Hester. Something that could help Miami's chances is the fact that him and Courtel Jenkins are friends and played together last year at DePaul Catholic.

Not a question, just tell me everything's gonna be alright with Travonte Valentine.

Never know for certain when transcripts and scores are involved, but the Champagnat coaches are very confident he will be OK

Of those committed to Miami now, who do you see leaving and why?

Rosier - have never felt like he was completely solid. Has not returned messages or calls in months and the coaches seen to give Kaaya a lot more love
This seems to be directly contrary to the most recent article on Canesport about Rosier. In it, Rosier said that his only visit will be to Miami, and that he is 100%. He also says that Coley and him talk regularly, before every game, and the Coley will be doing an in-home with him soon.

Then I would defer to that interview because I haven't talked to him in a while. I'm just going off of the times I've talked to him in the past and the possibility of a school closer to him coming in and offering late.

I really don't like to speculate on recruits being paid. Fsu is confident which is all I know

Who is the one local kid we aren't recruiting that you think we should be?

Michael Johnson - Safety from Champagnat

For three reasons

1) he's a legit top prospect at safety with size, speed, and ball skills. He will be 205 within the next year

2) huge position of need

3) as long as the coaching staff at Champagnat is there, they will have top D1 talent. Would be nice to start a pipeline there

Frustrating. Especially at a position of need.

And I see he's committed to Strong. That ***** knows defense.
