Some people will never realize this.

I've said it multiple times and cannot stress how important it is to keep Tosh Lupoi on the West Coast.

If Lupoi gets hired as a HC/DC/DL in the SEC, it'll be like Calipari in Basketball.

I'm not going to sit here and say the ACC/B1G/XII/PAC are clean (because we all know 95% of colleges are doing it) but the NCAA has a proven track record of turning their cheek when it comes to SEC recruiting.

Hmmmm...So all of a sudden the SEC started paying recruits in..say 2005? What happened before then? When FSU/UF/ and UM ran ****? The Louie duffle bags didnt get to the kids in time? Was Bobby B paying recruits too because he ran off #1 recruiting classes like it was nothing back in he 90s and early 00s.

Look im not saying NOBODY gets paid. But god **** yall make it seem like any and every **** who commits to an SEC school gets a duffle bag full of cash. How bout some of these kids just like being on national TV every weekend? Like being apart of the "IT" place to be. Like groupie chicks ridin they jock. Like sold out crowds. You cant argue with the track record of the SEC right now. God knows I want to slay these mofos "Red Wedding" style. (If you watch game of thrones you will get the analogy.) But we gotta recruit kids who WANT to be Canes. Like Burns, Carter, Coley, Bush. And who will fight to get us back. Cherry pick a few kids here and there like AQM. And get lucky when we can. Like if Derrick Griffin falls in our laps.

Thats how Butch brought us back. He didnt care who was getting paid or what recruits wanted extra attention. Buddy went about his business like Tywin Lannister and conquered **** quietly and made bold moves when he needed to. We get back on top and things will start really shifting in our direction. And people wont even be talking about the SEC.

Honestly, if I'm an opposing coach and I'm recruiting a defensive lineman against Miami, all I do is go and pop in the tape. I show them footage of how our d-line schemes and plays against the top teams. I show them our guys being absorbed, blocked and taken out of the play. Then I go to my tape and show them my All-Conference Defensive End with 13 sacks or my All-American DT blowing up a dive play. Until we can prove that we can be a good defense using a two-gap scheme, defensive line will be tough. Not everyone is getting paid y'all.
