Recruiting in the Deep South

I’m a little biased now but South Carolina is a state I wish we would see more

Clemson kinda does their own thing and USCe isn’t really a strong draw for local players

Realize we can’t be everywhere all the time but SC and Virginia have always felt like underrated places to recruit

great minds think alike i have only been saying this for five years or more now.

South Carolina produces a ton of freak athletes.

They usually have very high upside & athletic profile.

South Carolina got CB's/Safeties & North Carolina got EDGE/DT's in every class that end up being very good high end players after 3-4 years of development.

I’ve lived in both areas and besides being full of goons it’s also I think areas that would love to live on south beach for a few years

Like they are usually within a few hours of the Atlantic but nothing like Miami

Virginia Beach or Myrtle beach vs South Beach? 🤣

Gaffney, Inman, Spartanburg, Rock Hill, Roebuck etc to me there doesn’t seem to be much if any investment into high school football

I could be wrong. I’m newer to the state and don’t know a ton of details but I know for sure Beamer has no loyalty here yet. People still talk about Steve Spurrier around here ffs though last year created some buzz for sure. It’s still really close to Tennessee and kids seem to root for them
