Kool gets to pick his guys without second guessing for sure. Had heard some whispers that Ford's first step\burst might be a little lacking so wanting to see if people felt it was good or had improved.

You heard "whispers" about his 1st step? Why would anyone need to whisper about that?

I've seen conversations where his first step was not considered elite and wondering how that will\has translated to playing inside.

I'm just wondering if Ford is looking like the 3-tech we all want or the 3rd DE some think we need in this class.

He is 275 now and will likely end up being a lean 300.

So DE then?

The good thing about having a guy like Kool.....he sees what a kid is 2 to 3 years from now. And that's the key in the trenches. Very hard to gauge how guys develop and grow etc
