They identify good under radar kids to. They are the best in the biz along with OSU and Clemson

Lol @ "under the radar" kids. They took 4 3 star commits in 2021, 4 3 star commits in 2020, and 1 3 star commit (a kicker) in 2019. Yeah they are really taking chances with under the radar recruits.

There were a few people talked about here the Josh Jacobs kid they found....also the qb the pats took. I think guys like that get a star boost when they are unknown cause people trust that legit bama offer. So recruiting services follow suit and boost bama kids cause they trust the evaluations. When Saban leaves u will see that dip like when Butch left. Cut the head off the snake the body falls apart

You can Eval all you want. Identifying the right kids is an important step but it doesn’t mean you will land them. The other issue we’ve had is that the desired recruits and their families Eval us as well. They haven’t signed up for a one ended relationship, we have to bring something to the table and they are watching us this year especially, to see what’s up. Our bigger issue has been that we aren’t passing their coaching evaluation. 3 five stars with 51 blue chippers and no results.

Not exactly glowing remarks for Butch and his FIU staff in this article.

It’s challenging to show “results” with the killer schedule we’ve had to play year in and year out. 😔

A lot of those blue chip players are first and second year guys. The two 5 star players on the roster are true freshmen who haven’t played a game yet. Last season was a step in the right direction. They can continue to build on that.

They have a gimmick offense...that WORKS.

The dang qbs they had before Watson and Sunshine put up big numbers as well.

They have a huge talent advantage over pretty much every team in the nation besides Georgia and Ohio State. They still have an advantage over those teams, just not as pronounced.

And the few 5 star high 4 star bust they have nobody talks about it cause they just replace them with another 5 star.

I agree, things are getting better. We must at least stop getting blown out in big games, and hopefully win some very soon. Our coaches have to step up on game day and in development, then the kids will come.

Ahmmon Richards losing his career definitely impacted our recruiting advantage in H2H battles. He was really special and had a chance to be the next dominant Canes Wr in the league. When he retired it hurt us on many levels.
