What if we still cant sustain drives or convert third downs

What if we still give up 500 yards on D



Is Golden still the hc in 2015? What i mean is will he just leave on his own?

Considering the defense is not a record, do you mean if we go 9-4 again with the same defense as last year?

If we win 9 games this year I'd be pretty shocked to be honest. I just don't see that happening with a freshman quarterback, a new right side of the OL and, well, our defense.
 
Why even start a thread like this when the premise is Golden will leave on his own?

If we go 9-4 and the defense improves, which it has too, almost by defualt, Golden's seat isn't even warm. Now that we lost our Senior starting QB, he has even more leeway. And while people here will tell you that's an excuse (after telling us how easy our schedule is because a bunch of teams are breaking in new QBs), it's really just a reality.

Sorry guys, I don't have the power to lock threads yet, but can we all agree to leave this one quietly and the last one out get the lights?

I'll even answer the OP - if we have the same record in 2014 as 2013, Golden stays.
 
If he continues to prove that he is not a gameday coach i will be really dissapointed. I just want to see adjustments, adjustmets coming out of timeouts and halftime etc. If that dosn't happen this year like it didn't last year I will really grow tired of this man coaching our football team on Saturday. If the coaching staff could just make adjustments I wouldn't be all that mad losing a game if the coaches put us in a position to win the game with adjustments. I don't to see anymore bull**** Duke, Wake Forest, and V Tech games. My body can't take it much longer

Since Golden is now about as welcome in South Florida as a dose of clap, we get Butch.

Butch and Miami are like a Master Lock matched up with the right key.

A defense improving because it's been so historically bad that it's almost impossible to be worse isn't an accomplishment and I hope the powers that be are smart enough to see this. Also, the last two Heisman winners have been redshirt freshmen. That's not an excuse either.

Correct. Not knocking his recruiting/developing ability at all.

I want a coach who can actually coach. If we're starting over, go get the best guy on the market....he is a former alumni too.
