RB Update 12:33 PM

For those who have seen them both.. Is Chestnut better than his teammate Woodley?

Yes

Alex, your thoughts? Take or no take? I say yes. When we strikeout on the "elite" guys, our fallback options need to be the good/productive local guys that as we've seen time and time again, turn out to be **** good CFB players.

Yes he is a take. We need a back right now badly. He can play at Miami I dont doubt that.

I know he is committed to WMU but he has better offers. At this stage your not flipping anyone committed to a big time school. I think we should feel very fortunate if we can land Chesnut this late in the game.

I like him a lot more than Dillard and Lewis who if we dont sign someone will be getting carries next season.

We need a body at RB. If we dont get Edwards I'd take this kid.

Of the plan B guys remaining I'd rank them like this 1. Dayes 2. Tice 3. Chestnut.

He looks a lot like Eduardo Clements body wise.

from his tape he looks good. I have to be honest, I know they said he isnt fast or big but Ray Lewis 3 has great field vison and elusivness in his video. Funny part is they said the same things about his dad.

Completely different level of competition. He ran for over 100 on ST.Thomas , Central, & Miami Northwestern.

Average 10.9 yards a carry in 8A in South Florida

Is Dayes even an option? I'd imagine he is going to NC State and its over

He's a guy who I think might have gotten a spot in a full class, so I wouldn't have a problem bringing him in.

Explosive, averaged like 10 ypg against much better comp than Collins, not saying he's better...I'm just sayin lol

I was thinking that too. He has pretty good scouting reports and offers from K St., fsu, kentucky, wvu, etc. Why them? Honetly, lets not forget, the Alex Collins hype by recruiting agencies started when he decommited from us. When he was our commit, they said he had a disappointed jr year.
