Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Fletcher...but Baxter in my opinion is on another Level. Very McGahee-ish...

I’d imagine Mario is going for both, and of course the lightning in a bottle that is CJJ.

Not all will leave of course, but an argument could be made for any RB on this roster not being back next season.

If two leave, which is my prediction, gotta at least replace those two spots. There should be a lot of snaps up for grabs.

Baxter is averaging 9.1 yds per carry this yr, against formidable competition...let that sink in....173yds per game as well.

Baxter is alot better. I've seen both play. If Baxter were to come to UM...He'd be the feature back in no time. Incredible work ethic...

Fletchers family definitely wants him at UM. I can absolutely confirm that. If he can put the ill feelings to the side about feeling like we shafted him (PAUSE), then I agree that come signing day he will be ours.

I want Baxter as much as any recruit we're going after...will be a tough pull from Texas...but you never know.

agree 100% but thats not to say that the kid doesnt feel a certain kinda way when a program like Ohio State makes you feel like more of a priority than your hometown team that hasnt won **** in your lifetime

I think so....runs a 4.5...with a personal best of 4.45...at 6'1 215

Wasn’t McGahee sub 4.3 at that size? I think they said that on a broadcast after one of his long TDs (I think against Syracuse in 2002). If so, that’s INSANE.

He’s been looking around for a minute , nothing would surprise me with UF though. Regardless we’ll be fine at rb , with both HS and portal options. I won’t lose sleep.

That said Fletcher does have a very good offer from UM.
