RB David Williams

Good size, speed, feet, patience. There are longer highlight reels of him out there but they seem to be choppy and not the best quality.

Competion looks god-awful.

May not mean much, but at The Opening had the 2nd worst SPARQ among RBs, ran a 4.66 the 3rd slowest

Doesnt make any sense that were looking for RB's outside of Florida none at all! Name the last great RB weve recruited outside of Florida..Id venture to say it was from the 80's

Jarrett Payton, Andrew Johnson, Mcneal,?? We need to stay in state for RB's...

I agree. Been saying it for a while, Miami should never leave the state for a back. Our most recent mistake is when we took Storm Johnson over Gio. **** shame.

Wrong. Gio was never interested in us.

His level of competition isn't great, but it shouldn't be a concern. It sure didn't affect Kevin Jones, Bernard Pierce, and LeSean McCoy. That being said, I wouldn't mind if we brought in Tice or Barber.

Gio's fam wanted him to go away for college IIRC.

Don´t know about the others, but Shady´s comp was no joke. This kid seems to be playing against some white peewee teams. Is that a catholic private school league or something?

according to ESPN Insider williams just name a top 3 of Arizona st, ohio st, and south carolina

There's plenty of great RB's all over the nation. Get a kid with the measurables who wants to play for The U who will put in the work and let Golden and company develop them. Terry Richardson knows what to look for in a RB. The guy produced two 1,000 yard rushers in the same season "2009" at UCONN. In 2008 Richardson produced the nations top rusher "Donald Brown".

If Richardson wants a RB then I trust his evaluation.

Kids looks like a prototypical Big Ten type back. He must have something going for him if the staff has been working on him. Clearly he's a plan B if Collins is gonzo, hae to say, Im not sure. They want a big back, so this kid could be what they are looking for.

I do tend to think if we are on Plan B/C guys for RB, that Chestnut or Tice may be worth taking a shot at, I guess they feel those kids are going to be there at the 11th hour if we want them, so go after guys higher on the board first.

You do realize there are good running backs outside the state of Florida right? Our top choice was from Florida, but now he's d*cking us around and quite probably headed elsewhere, so what else can we do?

That is correct.

Theres good players everywhere..What always made Miami good is gettingguys from right here in the state. If it aint broke dont fix it. I dont think we should be getting anybody outside the state of florida except long snapper and maybe a QB and a few OL or DL here and there. Thats how we won thats the only way we will ever win. Call it superstition but... the numbers dont lie
