Allen wants touches. He wants a shot to make it to the NFL, and that's not going to happen if he sits behind Lyle and Fletcher. Don't think Martinez's future factored into his decision

He's not going to make it to the NFL at all. He's a #2 running back at best. Extremely over valued in this thread. Wish him the best, but come on.

Some talked about him returning kicks. The guy who should've been doing that was Washington. At least if you're looking at what they've done in high school.

I guess. but the reality is he may go there and get 200 carries and thats what he needs to show out. He doesn't need to be going to a super competitive team and competing with 4 guys for carries. Man needs to get to the league at this point. Crazier things have happened (Gus, Homer, DeeJay, etc).

FIU??? Wow, we must be missing something here with him. 6 ft over 200 pounds and has homerun speed which many RBs don't have. How is half the ACC not trying to get this guy? How is South Florida or Central not trying to fight over him? FIU as low as you can get in the G5. If Ajay gotta go to FIU then do it but I hope he gets a better offer. This one I don't get cause out of all the backups we lost I consider Ajay as one of the best depth players

Other guys that might go to FIU are Jon Denis, Laurence Seymour and Antonio Tripp. Now that sounds about right but Ajay Allen way too good to be at FIU

The three you mentioned were much bigger and better overall backs. Poor comparisons IMO.

I like Ajay a lot and would love him back as our third or fourth back. But once again, our fans have deluded themselves into thinking the backups are the best players on our team.

Ajay is a #3 or 4 back at a premier school. If he wants to be the #1 guy a place like FIU is a good spot. That’s not a knock. He’d be a contributor here but if he wants to be THE guy. G5 is his best option.
