I mean, there's D1-A, D1-AA, DII, DIII, a ton of flag football and intramural leagues, then NAIA.

They don't even give scholarships IIRC.

Ray Ray messed up but he wasn't a "Thug" or anything like that... just didn't handle the "pressure" maturely IMO. I hope he has a lot of success in the NFL.

If this kid has any aspirations at all of playing in the NFL he'll either switch to Tight End or put on about 15 pounds and convert to linebacker.

Very little chance this kid ever amounts to anything of significance as a safety long term. His change of direction speed is downright horrible for a secondary player. He gets torn apart attempting to cover in space.

He needs to be as close to the line of scrimmage as possible.

One, his gf worked for a PR firm. Two, he took pictures of a hotel he was staying at that he was not paying for. Three, he lied about it. Add up his past mistakes and it was an easy decision for Miami to make.

One, his gf worked for a PR firm. Two, he took pictures of a hotel he was staying at that he was not paying for. Three, he lied about it. Add up his past mistakes and it was an easy decision for Miami to make.

He can't help where his gf works and wow pics of a hotel room. Did he post/tweet that she paid for it? Now he was wrong for lying but the kid was never into any trouble until the Shapiro thing broke. We suspended him for going out to eat with his gf. Now I wouldnt tweet any of my business but the kid hasnt been drama filled. To be honest our entire program has been...

Being suspended twice in one season isn't dramatic?

Ok

Doesn't matter how small the recent transgressions were. He's been suspended twice for NCAA and team violations and lied about the recent crap with his gf with what could be perceived as NCAA violations. Three strikes, you're out. How is this debatable?
 
"A source" told Joe Shad that RRA was NCAA ineligible. The fact that he is going to a non-NCAA school seems to confirm that. Otherwise, you would think he would transfer to a 1-AA school. The other thing is, why would RRA lie if he didn't think he did anything wrong?

In any case, he's gone, and UM will move on.
