Ray Lewis speaks to USC football team

Don't blame him, he's getting PAID to speak to and influence young mens lives in a sport he gave so much for. He's not selling out. Doubt the U pays him when he speaks for them.

The funny thing is...why doesn't USC have any "greats" like Ray that want to come speak to them? Pretty sure the U doesn't have to contract out some former player from a different university to come and inspire their players.

Getting paid to show up and talk some BS for 30 mins at most and a free trip on their dime to LA

it's even better for miami when he does this. Players are sitting there thinking, why did our school have to ask a great from another to school to speak to us?.. oh wait thats because we don't have anyone even close to him

fair enough, i'll change my statement

"We don't have anyone with 10 fingers anywhere close to him" is what they would say

Coach Orgeron was an Asst, at UM during Ray's years here. Just a guy helping out an old friend, an old coach, helping to steer young men in the right direction, I got no problem with that... because they aren't on our schedule.:-)

Not surprised to see him trying to help an old friend maybe getting the head coaching job at USC!
