generally, the sons of people like ray lewis tend not to have the killer instinct and motivation of their dads. they grow up in comfort and whether they make it on their own or not, it does not matter bc dad will be there unconditionally.
this reminds me of what allegedly bill gates did with his children. he's going to give them only $10M because he believes that if they cannot make it with $10M, they are not going to make it with $20M or $100M.
not sure this is true, but the principle is spot on.
Kellen Winslow says hi.
Supreme Talent. Different story.
Super driven guy. Well-off dad. Same story. His talent was useless without that inner fire that he had.
Performance=Ability x Motivation
If either variable is a low value, you will get low performance.
Kellen Winslow was not only talented, but he had uncommon fire. RLIII could be out of that same mold.
Exactly. RL3 might turn out to be a schlub. Who the **** knows? But I laugh at the guys who already have him pegged as a stiff. He's short. No doubt. How tall is Bob Sanders? I've seen this dude working out with his dad, and he looks like he's cut from the same cloth. I would never bet against a guy like that.
