Ray Lewis III.....why not play him at RB?????

generally, the sons of people like ray lewis tend not to have the killer instinct and motivation of their dads. they grow up in comfort and whether they make it on their own or not, it does not matter bc dad will be there unconditionally.

this reminds me of what allegedly bill gates did with his children. he's going to give them only $10M because he believes that if they cannot make it with $10M, they are not going to make it with $20M or $100M.

not sure this is true, but the principle is spot on.

Kellen Winslow says hi.

Supreme Talent. Different story.

Super driven guy. Well-off dad. Same story. His talent was useless without that inner fire that he had.

Performance=Ability x Motivation

If either variable is a low value, you will get low performance.

Kellen Winslow was not only talented, but he had uncommon fire. RLIII could be out of that same mold.

Exactly. RL3 might turn out to be a schlub. Who the **** knows? But I laugh at the guys who already have him pegged as a stiff. He's short. No doubt. How tall is Bob Sanders? I've seen this dude working out with his dad, and he looks like he's cut from the same cloth. I would never bet against a guy like that.

Winslow Jr was big and fast, RL3 is small and slow. Heart and effort can only maximize your god given talent.

Winslow Jr. was slow for a WR, which is where he played in HS and where he was recruited by everyone. He was not a consensus blue-chip super high-end recruit. He had a fire unmatched by many though and turned himself into a great TE.

Well in all fairness RLIII is a way better athlete and football player then AJ Highsmith so chill w/ those comparisons... those that say they dont think his ceiling is high thats the same **** that was thrown at his dad. If he has half the mentality and work ethic that the GOAT has then he will be more then just a role player here at UM.

You all are doubting him w/o any real reason behind it, except being internet youtube talent evaluators..... But nevermind the fact that when he was at the Semper Fidelis All American game, he received nothing but positive remarks about how athletic he is and how much he has surprised everyone w how talented of a football player he is.

UM fans are hilarious you all think that every person that was a part of the National Championship hurricane teams were 5 star recruits.... smh.

It's hilarious watching guys all glom onto the same stupid **** one of their leaders says. One leadership voice on one of these sites says a guy has "a low ceiling" or some other fake scout talk, and everyone jumps on it like a Twinkie. I don't know where they see all this lack of athletic ability because I've seen just the opposite. Dudes also love to overlook the huge factor that is heart and desire.

kid is not a RB here. that is the point. it is obvious. RB is probably the easiest position to project. you either have it or you dont.

the really sad part was the schollie...Dear ole dad is worth millions and the kid went to a prep school and rumored to be a 4.0 kid..yet we throw a much needed scholly his way...
I still hope he can help us the next four or five years you never know...

Just guessing...don't know for sure but I'll bet RL has given a few bucks to the U.

I don't think he has like Edge or Vilma...and I hope he has he should all the NFL guys that came thru here should help with inner city kids and schollies...my point was RAY jr using a scholly in these time where schollies are hard enough to use properly and this kid has a daddy worth millions....

I also said I hope the kid works out and we see a lot of Big daddy on the sidelines this year...
