Wouldn't be surprised if Robinson said that to CI just because he realized he'd get heat from LSU. Don't know this to be true, but completely plausible.

If I was Golden I tell him not to de-commit from LSU now. Don't want to put too much pressure on the kid.
Best if he tells LSU a day or two before signing day. Just to be considerate and give them time to work on other recruits. Otherwise, the switch could be done on signing day like it happens so often.
