Rashad Colson 2017 DT as a Potential Miami Recruit, is long athletic dlinemen from Carol City HS in Miami, FL that plays with good leverage who locates the ball carrier quickly then arrives with bad intentions.

The 6'5" 290lbs linemen plays booth ways for CCHS but his future is on the dline, despite being a raw underdeveloped player. Attending some summer college camps will benefit him greatly. He reminds me of former Booker T Washington DT Elkino Watson. Colson looks like a classic under the radar athletic dlinemen that coach Kul has turned into a QB eating beast during his time at Mizzou.

we're going to be spending a lot of time at Carol City visiting Dingle, Wilder and Wright. will be interesting to see if Kool likes what he see's.

Really nice find, with footwork and good added strength and core work over the summer this kid can be a nasty DT, hope Richt is in his coaches ear giving tips on how to work this kid out to become a better DT.

Safety Naytron Culpepper is also at Carol City now

Man, kid is nasty - he just loves to hit people! His mindset might actually make for a dominant OL.

Good thing is Miami is now recruiting \ evaluating him, so let's see what happens. Hopefully his grades are in order and there are no issues with his transfer from Miami Hialeah Lakes last year.

We all know how UM's admissions in the past have occasionally dropped the ball in spotting transcript problems early in the process, which can be addressed and resolved.

It's Hialeah-Miami Lakes.......

Nice find but a guy on TOS found him last year when he was still at Hialeah-MiamiLakes High--

Hialeah Miami Lakes--2 players with talent and no offers

HML is not the power it was in the 1970s (Joe Brodsky--eventually at the U as an assistant coach) and even 1980s and is overlooked at times recently...two players below have some talent..

Issiah (Zay) Small - Hudl

CB...6-2/165...2016......good speed ......needs bulk but is physical at this slender weight

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Rashad (Freak) Colson - Hudl

DT/OT...6-5/265...2017...raw but very athletic and explosive...... has not really done much weight training when he does 300 lbs or better in bwt.....has 2 more high school years to grow..

Love how video is dubbed with some soft, new-aged sounding music while the kid is killing people, sometimes
giving that extra knee shot to downed opponent.
LOL.
I would take him now and figure out if he's an OL or DLman.
Good catch Paranos.

//oh, and it's Hialeah-Miami Lakes (HML '80).

We can't miss out on any DL talent (Colson) in our backyard! Even ones that will probably need a season or 2 to develop. This boy got the potential and attitude you want in a DL.

Colson has some bad moments against this 2017 LT

Piper High School in Sunrise----Team was 9-2 last year before loosing to Flanagan in the playoffs. The other loss was to Deerfield Beach that beat STA 6-3 regular season.

(2017)..... Willbermane Louima...RT...6-4/290....could be moved to guard...quick enough to be a starting left tackle in HS. height is the factor here for T.

Willbermane Louima - Hudl
.
.
Here he is against the "Freak" Rashad Colson # 51 from Hialeah Miami Lakes who is listed at 6-5/295 now at Carol City.

vs. Hialeah-Miami Lakes - Willbermane Louima highlights - Hudl

This Louima cat is a beast.... Holy crap. He'd be a great addition as a guard.

Article on Canesport on him anyone got any details.

Loves Miami and will commit, but

"They really like me, but academic-wise, I have to get my grades," Colson said. "That's the key problem. So I have to get things organized and that's about it really."
