Here is who I am worried about leaving early. Golden did a great job of keeping all of last seasons NFL prospective juniors like Linder and Seantrel and there were grumblings of Porter.

Lets fast forward ahead to January 2014 and see who we can count on coming back for a national title run in 2014.

Again, this is just for fun, and also remember that a player only needs to be 3 years from HS to be eligible.

QB - Ryan Williams - will be back for '14 unless he plays for an injured Morris and lights it up

HB - Dallas Crawford - could turn pro if he somehow dominates this season. I would think he will be back for '14

WR - Phillip Dorsett - I predict he has an outstanding season and leaves early
WR - Rashawn Scott - I predict he has an OK season, but may get sick of college life like Streeter did and bolt early. 50-50 with this kid for '14

TE - Clive Walford - He will have a great season, his degree, and will leave for the NFL. Hope I am wrong.
TE - Beau Sandland - He will have a nice season, but will have an adjustment, and will come back for '14

OT - Taylor Gadbois - will play and will return for '14 to compete for starting spot

OG - Malcolme Bunche - will play, will be decent, will return for '14 and should be a starter & team leader
OG - Jonathan Feliciano - will play, will be decent, will return for '14 as a veteran starter
OG - Hunter Wells - will play backup duty, will return for '14 to compete

C - Shane McDermott - will play, will improve the most this season on OL, will return for '14 as team captain and help transition his lil bro and a new QB

DE - Anthony Chickillo - will play, will be ALL ACC, will be forced to decide early round NFL money vs leaving with a legacy of a national title in '14. 50-50
DE - Dwayne Hoilett - will play, will improve, will return in '14 to compete for starting spot
DE - David Perry - wont play much, will return in '14, definately no NFL or I will crap my pants if he leaves early after this season

DT - Olson Pierre - will play, will be ALL ACC, will be in same boat as Chickillo, I think he bolts for NFL unfortunately
DT - Corey King - will play, will improve, will return in '14 to compete for starting spot
DT - Jalen Grimble - will play, will improve, will return in '14 to compete for starting spot

OLB - Denzel Perryman - will play, will be ALL AMERICAN, will leave early for NFL and be 1st LB taken in draft. We will miss this kid more than anyone even Morris
OLB - Thurston Armbrister - will play, will improve, will return in '14 for starting spot

CB - Ladarius Gunter - will play, will improve, will return in '14 as veteran starter

K - Matt Goudis - will play, will return in '14 to kick some game winning FGs on way to national title.

Laugh all you want at this post, but I always worry about kids leaving early for NFL since our university pretty much hypes up thats what Cane football is all about - getting to the NFL it seems.

But in 2014 we are winning the national title!

You messed up on Hoilett, part of the class of 2012 and will be a rFR this year. Walford isn't going anywhere. Maybe one of Dorsett/Scott leaves if they have an exceptional year, doubt it tough because there's so many weapons I don't think one wr in particular will substantially rise above the rest. I don't think Chick is as good as you proclaim he will be, although I hope I'm wrong, and I don't see him leaving anyway. Lastly, if Pierre leaves we're absolutely done at DT- Porter and Robinson will be gone. But Pierre may have the option as you state.

Denzel Perryman will be the only one that truly has a decision to make and I will wait to see what round he's projected to go in. If the kids are not projected to go in the first, they will stay. My best GUESS. I do think Morris and Henderson go in the first round if they stay healthy. Al Get's It. I do worry that Dion "could" apply for a hardship waiver. If that happens, I hope he goes as high as possible.

Hoilett RS in 2011 & is eligible

He returns but im right on his status

lol Hoilett got here in 2012 he's a rs freshman. Half of those guys are borderline NFL prospects smh.. Perryman is the only one that could and probably will leave. Chickillo will return for his sr year..

This totally reminds me of a CS Damien Black thread... Wait this is a Damien Black thread, posted the same roster thread on CS. Lol DB in disguise!

I see why this poster has a ton of red bars.

This thread is ridiculous. Williams lighting it up and leaving early is my favorite.

For some reason, the only two i see may go if they have good to great seasons are Dorsett and Scott. We will be breaking in a FR QB if Williams doesn't step up and is beaten out which i think is very likely with Olsen. The rest will have to straight dominate to leave. We will be loaded next year with upperclassmen and seasoned underclassmen. And btw Perryman will not be the first LB taken no matter what he plays like. He doesnt have prototypical size at 6'0" and the NFL show that they really value these things

this group is more mature than the streeter class......my guess is more come back than OP says

I stand by my post. Alot of dees guys will be totally different players than ur used to seein. Perryman is gone guys. He may kill someone this year hes that good. Again, i hope they all come back but remember more winning = more exposure = more hype = more kids wanting to leave

I like the idea of the post, but a lot of tht is just silly. I think perryman leaves, I could see one of Dorsett or Scott having a breakout year and bolting although I would bet they both come back. The only other possibility is Pierre, but he would need some massive improvement from last season, and tht wud just about sink the team nxt year.

Few things...

1. No way Chickillo entertains early round money. He's not an early round talent at DE.
2. Can't believe people sleep on Feliciano the way they do. He'll play decent? The ****? Him and Linder are neck and neck for best linemen on the team.
3. Perryman will not be the first LB taken. I don't care if he has 237 tackles. He's 5'11"-6'0". The NFL cares about that ****.
