Rank the rbs coming out of HS

LOL!

Lamar Miller was Sony Michel before there was a Sony. That kid was the goods from his Fr year in High School.

I personally like Sony a bit better but Miller was a STUD for sure. Ranking Yearby last out of these guys is no shot against him at all.

I'm really interested to see Sony's film this year. If you're just judging by junior year film the list looks a little different.

I almost ranked him last, but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt cause of the injury

Yup to both of you. That film was a lot of bouncing outside. I've given him the benefit of the doubt because of injury and what he had done prior to the injury, but he's nowhere near his max potential if he sticks with that mentality.

This site is getting dumber and dumber by the minute...

We just had this thread. Now again.

I have an idea. Look through the threads before you post the same stuff over and over. If need be use the search function to see if this topic has already been discussed. Not that hard people.

I agree with this. We have to wait on their senior films. Duke junior film was legit and his senior film was outer this world, which shows improvement over the year.
So barring something crazy, expect Cook, Yearby, Michel to all experience the same thing. Then we can judge.

The only comparisons we can make are based off junior films. So who has the best junior film out of all?.

Duke
Sony
Cook
Lamar
Yearby

Some sick talent in that group.

This is how I would put it as well, though Cook can definitely jump over Sony.

As far as #1, it's Duke and it ain't even close. Let's refresh OP's memory:

THIS and against good comp, and in games that mattered. look at his playoff numbers

DUKE
then

everybody until proven otherwise

lets see them take over some games that matter agaist good comp

Duke
Sony
Lamar
Yearby
Cook
All in all from all signs and things considered, they are all considered elite level prospects. Get who you can get and that is all that should matter. Recruit as hard as you can and that is all you can do. If they don't come, I am not a fan. PERIOD.

Duke
Cook
Sony
Yearby
Lamar

And I was a big fan of Lamar coming out of HS, but those other 4 guys were on a different level in HS

I'd flip Lamar and Yearby.

I understand the argument. Lamar was the better athlete coming out. Yearby just a better pure back

Lamar Miller Is probably the Fastest, but he never broke as many tackles as Duke did his entire college carreer compared Duke's freshman season. Lamar is a better straight line runner thats it, but as far a RB goes Duke all thw way.

I guess I'm more of a show me than a potential type of guy. Does Sony have all the attributes to be a stud? Sure... but he also tore his ACL and didn't have an all world season last season. Yearby has been a stud every year and hasn't torn his ACL. Miller was a stud and has never been the same since his shoulder separation. Duke has done nothing but produce at the highest level at every level he's played at. Until Sony blows up this year he's a huge question mark.

Duke

Yearby
Cook
Miller
Sony

Until further notice...

All very close but I'd say...

Sony
Duke
Cook
L. Miller
Yearby

Not sure how a kid who hasnt completed HS yet can be ranked ahead of Duke.

Duke
Miller
Yearby
Michel
Cook

Once their senior seasons are over, Yearby, Michel, and Cook could all pass Miller but none of them will pass Duke.

Its all pretty close and I expect my list to change after the season. I think Yearby is going to play with a major chip on his shoulder

I guarantee Duke is still #1 though.

I will never worry about the RB position at Miami. So much talent that can carry the rock for us. I also think that Elder and Gus are going to turn out to be animals while at Miami. Coaching these athletes up is what separates them from HS and college.
