Arkansas: TCU linebackers coach Randy Shannon is leaving TCU. He has been offered the linebackers job at Arkansas...but he has other offers as well.
Sources tell us they expect him to land at Arkansas; but this time of year we're always cautioned that things can change until he's "in the building" and
ink is on the paper. We'll keep you updated.

i hire him as a LB coach all day long(anywhere but the U). give him a list of 5 guys to recruit in south florida. if he gets one out of 5 then he earned his paycheck.

He didn't recruit let alone show up at his own summer camps, recruiting 5 kids each year may be too difficult for RS.

5 is a perfect number for randall. he can neglect 2 or 3 at a time, play snake, and still have a chance to pull one.

Former HC and "superstar" DC and is jumping around from position job to position job. What does that say about the people who make or made decisions for the University of Miami administration?

Shannon is not a good coach. Period.

He's certainly not a good head coach. I'm as furious about the job he did here as HC as much as anyone, but lets not get emotional.

He was he national assistant of the year as a DC (yes, I know he had world class talent) and was well regarded when he was the LB coach with the NFL's Miami Dolphins.

If his head is on straight, and his ego is in check, it's a good hire at LB coach. You're getting a proven NFL guy at the position, a guy with success at coordinator, a lot of experience. I'm sure Beliema checked into how he was regarded this past year at TCU and he checked out.

He was a great player and assistant here. I wish him well, except when he's recruiting against us. Then he can diaf:)
