There is a lot of talk that Randy Shannon will be offered some defensive coordinator positions or even a head coaching position at a mid-level school. It could effect a lof the recruits who expect Shannon to be at Florida?

I can't give much credit to Rumph for Bandy, the kid grew up on the same block as Sean Taylor & if Folden hadn't told his dad he needed to grow an inch, he would've committed to us anyway... Bandy wanted to be here more than anything, the only reason he was committed to Oklahoma was because the previous staff didn't offer him. No less than a month after we offered him, he flipped & has been solid since.

What you might've forgot, is I used to say the exact same thing about Rumph when it comes to judging him on 2018...
But that's the problem, the 2018 CB class is already coming undone with Jobe's imminent de-commitment.

When it comes to recruiting it's not always about who you have as a position coach, it's about how many wins you have in the win column and how good of a shot you have going pro. Some coaches are good at building bonds and landing kids but the second they get on a losing staff their pull is cut in half.
