Don't know this guy's story, but he is fast and smooth on film.

A lot of the Dade County corners in the league were high school receivers. I could see this guy making a similar transition.

He strides like he's been coached up as a sprinter. We need DBs but he looks good with the ball in his hands also. I did a Google search and found this posted on 247:

"I still could find no offers for him---near national elite 100m speed....posted last years highlights this years even better

11 month ago at the Miami Nike Combine posted at 4.53-(40). 4.28-(short shuttle) and 36.5"(vertical jump)........actual height is 6-0/170.

Travis Homer at the same camp posted a 4.51--40

He is faster than Keyshawn Young of Miami High and taller-- Nike Combine..K. Young 40--4.64, vertical 33.8"

The kid is silky smooth. Looks like he has talent and speed. Good find. I likes...

Wow, impressive. This is exactly the kind of kid staffs in the past have missed. Very underrated Athletic player. Kind of kid you take as your 3rd/4th DB and not a kid like knowles. Someone mentioned earlier about 100m speed - what's his speed?

Golden literally killed my interest in goin to high school games, but one of the handful that I did attend was a game including Miami beach. That kid above did look like a player and the fastest player on the field, he was a different speed than everyone. I couldnt for the life of me understand why his coaches didnt get him the ball more. Kid is very talented. I only saw him that one time, so I dont like to speak on certain players unless they are consistent but he did catch my eye and obviously him being bought up here shows he did his thing this season.

I thought this was the same type of post D$ put up last year this time about knowles.

Not like this bc knowles is not the athlete this kid is.

Who is dis kid? Where did he come from? Does the staff know about him? How come we haven't been heard about him? His tape is 2 good 2 just be just now hearing about him

Has to be grades. That or his coach hasnt been doing him any justice by not shopping his tape. This kid is NOT a "FAMU" caliber player. He has no business being there. (and Im a proud Rattler alum too) And he can do better then UMASS too.

This WR class is crazy stacked with guys who can play both ways. Good find DMoney, I hate to say but just from watching guys like this I kind of regret us accepting Phillips commitment, Phillips is a darn good ball player, but in a class like this you have WR who are established and comfortable playing that position. With Phillips, I have no clue what to expect, its that uncertainty that worries me in a class that is totally stacked from top to bottom with WRs. I hope Richt capitalizes on this class and stack talent to create competition in practice.

Honestly, I like this guy better at corner.

He has the smooth movement of a corner, he's got some length and he shows toughness. The limited clips of him playing defense are impressive.

Artie Burns style?

I think his explosion could be better but that might just be him not trying or trying to look for a hole. His footwork movement and size remind me so much a Stacy Coley it's not even funny, I think he would be a pretty good corner but he also looks like he likes to wait for the ball instead of attacking which he needs to get that habit broken. Solid player though. Definitely a P5 player.
