Rambo and Ford out of Sun Bowl

Best wishes to all that chose to sit out. I'm good with it. Our younger players will now have a bigger roll. This will provide a nice transition into 2022 gaining more experience and confidence.

Good grief Rambo was on some other kind of level with TVD

Gonna be a tough replacement for a young QB to lose his most reliable target

TVD is that dude but man I mean he would just toss it up to Rambo and either he would catch it or he would draw a PI

I brought it up a few times throughout the season but I would love to see the records for PI calls drawn by receivers and see where Rambo stacks up

Will wait for the OC decision and announcement, but it would help if we changed up our route trees. Guys would run free more often. Every weekend, I watch other teams repeatedly layer routes and scheme inside guys wide open. We really didn't consistently make creative attempts. Maybe we just couldn't get to it. I don't know the explanation. But, if I'm playing against TVD and know the dude can throw the ball to any sideline, I'm a little anxious about inside WRs.

Good. Bowl games don’t matter. They should be used to get the young guys experience.

I wish Rambo was playing but I can understand his decision. Ford is on the border between PFA/tryout level and needs all the tape he can get. He would've been much better off grad transferring but not sure if he had another year of eligibility or not

I understand why they don't participate but still don't like it. I do realize how devastating it was for Bratton, but diminishing a roster makes the bowl games more meaningless. A team works all year to make a decent bowl but then the best players sit it out. They can get insured.
