These cats look like JAGS to me (based on hilights I could be wrong but JMO)and I still dont know what the hype is about in getting sloppy seconds. If these kids were good why would the other teams let them walk??? Still not sold on this DLine and hopefully CPorter is the beast everyone makes him to be. We need CP to be fkin all world

Too bad *** stands for something else or we could throw that around for Just Another Porster. You would be on top of the list. Get your facts straight. Gilbert was free to leave. So was Renfrow. No school just let them do anything. Both graduated and were eligible to go play somewhere else right away. Kamalu signed with us originally and had second thoughts(Grades? possibly. Other schools continuing to recruit him? Definitely-Auburn) Based on highlights? You didn't even see highlights. You saw less than full speed plays without context.

We talking bout opinions on there talent level bruh dont get upset. Im saying from what I see and u see different so we just disagree and Im on your side I hope your right. I hope the board is right and these guys are Sapps and Wilforks.

No one said they were all-time greats or had to be. They are better than what he had. Proof? They're in the two deep ahead of guys that were there before. It isn't opinion that you said these guys were let go and are sloppy seconds. They weren't let go. 2 chose to leave. The other is a guy that came here from JUCO.

The greatest thing about this week is that many questions will be answered. Are these new guy good enough to make a difference? Will coach D stop putting CB's 5-7 yards off of the ball? Can we stop the run? Can we get sacks? People just need to stop being critical of these guy, when we will see if for ourselves Friday night. Plus these guy don't need to be starter, we just need some good spot duty from them.

Great video on Gilbert.

First thing that jumps out is that he looks like a guy with a high football IQ.
Plays smart. Doesn't over pursue. Takes care of his assignment. Hustles to the ball until the whistle blows.
He's not the biggest. He doesn't have a great 1st step. He's not going to power through double teams.
But he's a good college defensive end.
If you are looking for Rusty Medearis, it's not Gilbert.
If you are looking for good college d end then that's what he is.
He's not an NFL starter. He's not a double digit sack player.
He's the kind of d end who will not hurt your team. He's only going to help you.

Renfrow is way too articulate to be a defensive tackle. Put him on the waiver wire, and re-extend an offer to Suttles.

Beggars can't be choosers. We need capable bodies. If we can get anything out of those guys, its a bonus. Which is why the Gilbert move could pay off bigtime. He's got talent.
