Question (Should we sit TVD for the bowl game?)

No. He still needs the experience. Plus, this program badly needs to win a **** bowl game. Also, 8-5 sounds a lot better than 7-6, and that should only help Mario in making some late recruiting/portal pushes.

As far as I'm concerned there is no such thing as a meaningless game especially for someone who hasn't seen a lot of action and needs live reps. And a bowl win added to the team record is significant still.

Should we sit TVD for this meaningless Bowl game.

I don't want to jinx but I'm sure you know what I'm getting at.

No, not unless he‘s injured. Silly question.

Now, is Jake Garcia healthy and available? If so, I might consider giving him some playing time.

Same with Peyton, especially if he’s transferring. Or is he gone already?

100% yes and I wish UM could opt out of playing in this crappy bowl game.

The risk… injury… outweighs any supposed benefit in terms of extra practices, experience, etc. considering they will be practicing/playing for coaches/systems that will be different next season.

The bowl injuries to King and Graig Cooper are hard to forget.

We need to change the culture. We're in a new era of Canes football. We're 1-9 in our last ten bowl games. I might be in the minority but I definitely think we need to win our bowl game. We need to keep the momentum going into NSD on February 2nd.

Play TVD and beat WSU. Let our players feel good about themselves. Let our players be rewarded for playing through a rough year of adversity and change. Let our players know we're about competing 24/7, no matter if we're playing WSU, FIU, or LA Tech we're on a mission to win.

Sitting TVD is doing the exact opposite and reverts to our old passive ways.

Go Canes!

Ok so I guess I’ll chalk this up as a Manny Diaz type fail of a question.

Off the plank for me
