Question about our Current Uniform Designs...

Sounds like we got a bunch of fashion-fanatic ***gits. Above knees, black socks, black sneaks - I know, I know - ***gitss are about fashion and like the fashion statement that your evening black can make. Like for women, the one necessity - the little black dress.

Dear God. We're worried about our hem lines - correction - above the knees/below the knee.

****, why don't we see if we can work a bit of pink with some lace around the hems and necklines while we're at it.

Whether you "old school" Cane heads want to admit it or not...... Recruits dont want to look like a middle school football team when they put on their uniforms. It's usually not the end all deciding factor but looking like you got "SWAG" is/was apart of the mystic of being a Hurricane while performing at the highest level.

If "fashion" isnt a real issue then why did Sean Taylor and others where the flip flop orange visor.... Why do players put on "accessories" like matching arm bands and sleeves, that has nothing to do w/ improving ur ability to play football?

Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio State, Georgia, Florida State, Notre Dame, Texas, are all in the top 10 in recruiting and have "middle school" uniforms.

The kids who play for the U now would not want to wear all black cleats and shoes. It doesn't look good anymore. Quite frankly it's old fashion and not cool to be honest. The orange is more appealing to them. I would rather we wear the all orange and white vaper carbon cleats.

I don't care what the players want. It's about what we want here at CIS.

I really don't like the current uniforms. I think the jersey design is pretty lame and I'm glad we're supposedly getting something new.

And yes, black cleats with black socks are awesome. The orange cleats aren't bad though...I just don't like how other teams have them too. When we played UF they had the same cleats as us.

No they dont, are you serious? All of those schools uniforms are made much better then the bs they handed over to Miami.

That's not the point. Those teams have very simple "simple" and "traditional" uniforms contradicting your theory.

no being traditional isnt even what i'm talking about.... i'm talking about how terrible our uniforms look from top to bottom.

Every team in college football's uniforms are made better then the current version of Miami uniforms.

And what r u talking about "simple" for?... Miami's uniforms have always been "simple" they just use to look much better.

lol @ trying to pretend you caring about insignificant details is for the recruits. smh.

as long as our helmet is the same and the uniforms have a certain amount of simplicity and are instantly recognizable to promote the UM brand, i don't care. and neither should you.

So I or anyone else shouldnt care b/c you dont care if Football players are wearing leather helmets? lol oh ok tough guy

I brought up recruits, not to suggest that they are the "only" groups of individuals who care about how a uniform looks, but as an example of an important group that does. Actual players on the team, not just recruits, also care..... "uh uh lol"

I care b/c i remember how Cane uniforms use to look and it was apart of the whole package that made me a fan.... and that makes ppl fans of any other school.

Lol @ you trying to come off macho like your position on the issue makes you some tough guy.....who you fooling besides yourself?

Zone. Seriously.

If it was all about the uniforms to recruits - Oregon would have all the top players.

Recruits, just like players, want to win. The U on the side of the helmet? EVERYONE knows what that means.

Wtf are you talking about? Our Uniforms are the same material as Nike's NFL uniforms. Miami Unis are not "simple" technically, and they haven't been since the 90's. You claim recruits care about "fashion", and I proved that is far from the truth. If that were the case, Oregon, Arizona State, Baylor, etc, would have top classes every year. Alabama, Notre Dame, etc have the plainest and most simple uniforms ever and they kill it with "recruits."

I agree its not "ALL ABOUT" the uniforms at all w/ anyone, including recruits.....

The U on the helmet means something more then winning though..... "SWAG" had more to do w/ just winning.

To act like the show (which includes the look and the act) werent apart of the mystique of this program isnt being honest w/ yourself.

I dont get why you keep talking about **** that i'm not even on..... Miami uni's are "simple," You keep acting like the word "simple" and "fashion" are two different things.

Alabama uniforms are fashionable.... what r u talking about? I dont like em but a lot of ppl do.

and the reason why Oregon doesnt have top classes year in and year out is b/c its a West coast team in Oregon.... you dont think location has anything to do w/ it?. of course you are going to say no b/c that would go against ur point.

Many recruits have said "I wouldve went to Oregon but it was too far, didnt want to play on the West Coast" etc.

as far as Baylor is concerned, only you and Baylor fans think there uniforms are "fashionable" lol.

Lets just settle the debate and go with one of these options....of course they should be above the knees..or else we will lose
