Is there another league more loaded with prospects and top college players?

And, yeah, I'm saying it:

I don't think much of any of the QBs pictured when it comes to the NFL. Glennon I think folds under pressure too quickly or otherwise he might have a chance - can show and prove this year. Morris I think would be #2 in terms of pro prospects. More cause I don't Manuel is nearly accurate enough nor is Logan Thomas - but like Glennon those two can show their improvement this year possibly. Boyd I don't know. Could see him turning in a decent career or could see him be another CFL great but just a guy in NFL. Plenty of time for him too. Morris I don't know if I see him ever starting in the NFL but wouldn't be surprised - if anything he can Kyle Boller it and just gun passes off one knee and have guys thinking he's a prospect. Will need to see how he leads this year and just overall command of the game. The tools are on par with anyone listed.

Logan Thomas might be the #1 pick next year if he improves as much this year as last (yeah theres Barkley but Thomas has a lot more physical tools).

And D$ and I are probably the two biggest Morris supporters on this board, I think the kid is a future star.

ACC is loaded with QB talent.

I just haven't seen enough from Morris.

He's got a solid arm and he can move around, but I need to see more.

The first two games should tell us a lot about him.

Love Morris, but his balls seem to float high sometimes. Not sure if that's footwork or whatnot, but if he fixes that, he should be much more than solid. This is of course, assuming the obvious that he makes the right decisions.

I think that I read the Morris is the only non returning starter in the ACC. All the other schools in the league return their QB.

Hoping #17 steps up big time.

If Morris has a big year that will equate to an extra win or two this Fall.

Thomas is going to have to do a lot more with his feet this year--VT lost a bunch of WR's that he liked to go to last season--Danny Coale and Jarrett Boykin, in particular. The best one returning is probably Marcus Davis, followed closely by DJ Coles and Dyrell Roberts. There aren't really any proven receiving threats at TE on the roster, and they will be trying to piece together a run game with Tony Gregory (history of injury) and JC Coleman (true freshman) and not much else. It's going to be a struggle for Beamer/Stinespring because probably the best chance they have to put up points offensively is to let Logan Thomas run the football more this year. Dude is 6'6/260, but if the right guy gets a big hit on him--you're looking at Mark Leal (6'0/210) taking his place. Beamer/Stinespring don't want that, so they'll probably have him making more throws from the pocket instead of running read option a bunch with him like last season...which is safter, but makes their offense less explosive, especially if the running game can't get off the ground between Gregory/Coleman.

(Disclaimer: I'm surrounded by VT fans, so I have to know as much/more about the enemy as they do to keep them as quiet as possible.)

The 3 guys with the best chance to have special seasons thru the air in the ACC are Boyd, Manuel, and our boy--Morris, just due to all the weapons they have available. Special recognition going to Bryn Renner at UNC too, just because Fedora's going to let him throw it 40-50 times/game.
