IMO these are different than Taulia and Kyle.

At least NCAA granted blanket waiver for some JUCO guys.

As far as I know, no one has received waiver fighting Redshirt season.

How is this guy different? He clearly does not have a "blanket" fifth year if he is "hoping for" another year of eligibility.

You don't "hope for" another year if you've already been granted another year.
