Mendoza wasn't bringing a WRVERY turnover prone, granted in limited time at USC. Seems really odd that we would pass on Mendoza and instead go for Maiava.
Just a guess

Assuming you’re referring to Cam. Wasn’t his issue primarily fumbling? Maiava threw some UGLY picks in their bowl game. Only game of his I saw but there were some decisions and throws that even 2023 TVD wouldn’t have made.

True!Yea more just joking around. Cam made a lot of questionable throws that were pics too lol.
Info was Prob was supposed to stay offlineOn3 guy for usc said maiava has not submitted his transfer papers
No way Maiava transfers without a guaranteed starting job.Might be a similar strategy to last year with Poff. Get a potential future starter that is willing to be 2nd string in Y1, while continuing fishing for NFL declarees (Milroe, Beck, maybe Ewers?)
He’s in line to start at SC and we’d need to shell out legit money to get him id imagineMight be a similar strategy to last year with Poff. Get a potential future starter that is willing to be 2nd string in Y1, while continuing fishing for NFL declarees (Milroe, Beck, maybe Ewers?)
Sawyer Robertson me.So we're not speculating about Sawyer Robertson or Sam Leavitt?
Or is this just the shiny object of the day?
As usual.A lot of wasted time the past few days
But has completed forward passes in real games against real defenses. A step in the right direction against current stateWould need to significantly decrease his turnovers.

Exactly, I don’t think we can do better this timeAt this point I would take him, he's a legit playmaker. A bit turnover prone but he looked against A&M. He would be a serviceable bridge QB
