The Portal closes 12/28 doesn’t it? So if we get a QB even say next weekend - that’s a very short time to get the elite talent who believes in Miami next year because of who they signed

Portal doesn't even open until Monday how do you expect them to have it resolved by Sunday if kids cannot visit until after they are officially in the portal on Monday.

You have to be in the portal by 12/28 but they can sign whenever so the deadline to sign is more when Miami spring semester starts

Remember, if a HC gets fired or leaves, players have 10 days to enter the portal. Even if the portal entry date has passed.

There is absolutely no way we dont inow who we want. If Mario is the recruiter he claims to be then this should be as close to a done deal as it gets.

Portal entry shuts down Dec 28th, thats another benefit to making the playoffs. Less likely to have guys who get playing time jump in when they are on deck to try and win a championship. That has to be very helpful for roster retention.

For teams not in the playoffs (or with 1st rnd losses), not so big a deal to hop in. If we won ACC and got that first round bye I doubt any meaningful players hit the winter portal.

Mendoza has 136 career carries for 191 yards.

One of those carries went for 50 yards and another went for 16. He gained 125 yards on the other 134 carries.

Emory has 7 carries for -17 yards and a broken arm.
