I don't think you can say the staff moved at a snails pace here.

The two best options available were always Ward and Howard.

It's literally been said on here that Howard has a comittable offer from us, and he hasn't taken it yet.

The staff would've taken Ward if he wanted in also, did he **** around ? Of course.

Their 2 top options didn't make a decision for a whole month. What did you want them to do?
Go get DJU?
Go get KJ Jefferson?
Go get who?

He did visit USC but i guess their NIL is a mess and with Miller Moss performance maybe the moved on. And for OSU i suspect it is like your friend is saying theyll take him gladly but not going to overpay for him.

The waiting for additional options ship has long since sailed. Create the list of the 3 or 4 guys you would take and take the first one willing to come on board.

Oh he's definitely a stud. But being in Jawja's back yard and in the heart of SEC country it'll be a fight to keep him. Just like Riley did this year, Satan and Kirby can come in last minute.

Portal season is quickly surpassing recruiting season as most entertaining for me.

Im just catching up today, but from what I gather, yesterday were were praying for KJ Jefferson and Howard was a pipe dream unless we doubled the offer with the Hey Big Head tax

So 24 hours later Howard is a consolation prize we may have to settle with and we got a couple guys ahead on our new board.

I feel like Im at a casino. One of the shady ones in the Caribbean with like 5 slot machines and 2 table games where you arent sure if the odds are better here than Vegas or if Im about to get fleeced.

When Texas had the ball on their second to last drive, with just over 2 minutes remaining why did the clock start running when Ewers ran out of bounds? There was then a play a couple of plays later where the receiver went out of bounds and the clock continued to run. Texas lost about 20 seconds on that drive due to this.

Also, what was up with Washington's late hits? There were about half a dozen in the game, uncalled. The closest the refs got to it was a flag in the fourth quarter for a shove in the back, which they then picked up.

That's the rule .... over 2 minutes and run out of bounds and clock starts once they set the ball. Under 2 minutes and its stopped.
