He threw the ball 60 yards. The issue was not arm strength, it was the timing.

Idk why his arm gets undersold on here, but he's got plenty of arm talent & arm strength.

He's a 10x better passer than Emory, Judd or Cedrick Bailey.

Maybe he gets underestimated because he's not a prototype statuesque QB, but he can absolutely sling it, without question.

If you watch some of the deep ball drills in the Elite 11 and some of his highlights ... he has uncanny deep ball accuracy. To me he has the basic skill set passing wise of a young Cam Ward, also has demonstrated leadership and being a legit team guy. He just needs reps with D1 speed guys to acclimate.

How high are you guys on Luke? Seen some stuff but haven’t been able to read a ton recently.

Big time guy like freshman starter or has tools and need to develop?

I'm pretty high on him.

I think he’s a top 5 QB in the 25 class.

(Albeit, the 25 class is a down year for QB's overall imo).

But I like his arm talent, his decision making & his mentality. He's without question a P4 starter at the next level.

I'd be perfectly comfortable with him starting as a TF next year, if we don't find another big time portal QB.

We should be ecstatic if that comes to pass. Although Howell had a howitzer for an arm. Still not a terrible comp with stature and both were gamers.
