Official QB Jaden Rashada: COMMITS… & then Flips to the gator… & then the gator welches on the payments so he doesn’t enroll and rescinds NLI

lol "missed his flight" my ahh, you know that's an excuse lol

Edit: the word is he will be in, in the morning. We shall see

In the morning? In the morning? He is flying FROM THE WEST COAST. That's just bullcrap, particularly with having to take a connecting flight to Hogtown or a long drive from Jax or Orlando.

"In the morning"...hilarious...

That part I would agree with you, this is probably being treated like a family vacation. They get to go see the country. Lets see where they end up actually going is spot on.

Holiday road, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh...

The Rashadas arrive in Hogtown:

The big thing is that it’s a pain in the *** for parents of west cost kids to go see their kids play at schools in hick towns. You have to deal with a long flight, 3 time zones and then a connecting flight. With Miami it’s a direct SFO to MIA flight. Still sucks but way easier

Spend 90% of the NIL on travel costs? Makes Gaytor Brandz sense...

Gattis likes Moore, he is less polished but has super high upside, high character kid. Rashada is QB1 (also high character kid) plus the unique skills. I do not think the price is too high today. I think the ask was once asinine and has come down.
Something that has my attention is Ruiz saying he will not renegotiate his lifewallet contracts. I have NO idea how those deals work and its probably safe to assume his stance only applies to deals actually signed.

I just wonder what will happen if he agrees to a handshake deal with lifewallet, plays out the season, looks better than advertised, and some **** barn like A&M comes in with a massive last minute offer. Will the (lets call it salary cap) money have been spent by that point?

I know its how the game is played now. Its just... ****. The kids who don't sign in December are going to make bank.

Let's also not forget something important here.

NIL deals are paid annually. We tend to read the "total comp" numbers, but kids don't get all that money in Year 1.

Therefore, if a kid who ALREADY got a big NIL deal wants to "leave" for another school, he will need a SIGNIFICANT bump in the dollar amounts to offset what he is leaving behind at School 1.

And I'm not saying that it WON'T ever happen, just that I don't think it will be as common as some people make it out to be.

Don't have to give specifics, I'm only curious. Over or under 1.5m a year? (Original asking price)
