The NFL option has hardly, if it all, been mentioned. The total focus has been which school he’d transfer to. This revelation completely changes the narrative.

the adding the part about choosing a school he hasn't visited tells me hes waiting on another school to up their offer and using us and FSU as leverage. my guess is OSU. id move on to Howard and call it a day if Howard isnt also waiting on USC

u like murphy from texas? needs some work developing from what i saw this season, but he has tools. am not opposed to him. think we could have a really awesome year on offense with ward, but also think we can win 9-10 games with our schedule next year (assuming defense doesn't suddenly become awful) if we get a QB who turns the ball over at a much lower rate than TVD, and throws to WR down the field that dawson schemes open at a higher rate (edit: oh yeah and can run occasionally and not look like a geriatric).

Going pro and being a mid round pick with 2 million on the table would be a terrible decision.

Mid-late round picks would need to actually make a roster and stick around 3 years to make over 2 mil.
