Well of course it was "way too early". The statement was that TVD was getting NFL draft buzz BEFORE Mario took over. He absolutely was expected to be a decently high draft pick if his 2022 season (Mario's first season) resembled his 2021 season.

Pretty sure Lashlee left....so TVD wasnt going to play in that same offense. Also he would have been the biggest bust since Ryan Leaf if he was picked in 1st round. The guy cant read a defense, cant make throws, obviously doesnt put in the work.

Pass on Nelson as THE guy in 2024. He can be the #2 while Jacurri walks. KJ is another TVD situation where you’re banking on the OC/Mario to re-discover the form he put on earlier in his career and not this past year.

Dawson and Mario are no Kendall Briles. Idk man…idk. Guess time will tell.

I would say that going to the NFL will be the decision. That’s what he wanted to do all along.
