the more I hear from these sources I realize while they might be close to someone inside the program they dont know what these kids are going to do. time and time again it is the feeling inside the program or coaches feel confident..pretty much a garbage in garbage our scenario. have to take everything with a grain of salt if it is coming from inside the Hecht unless it is coming from the player or someone close to the player.

Mine is not exactly in the program.

But a valid comment. At the end of the day it’s kids/young adults and they’re gonna do what they want when they want without understanding repercussions and implications.

Not that there are repercussions.. just typically in recruiting. It’s just on their own time right now

I don’t even like this approach. IF Howard wanted in, you take his commitment. Lot of unknown variables in play here though- but you have to believe that Mario & Co. are smarter than allowing Ward to go on additional visits while telling Howard to “stay put- we’ll be right back”.

I’m saying end of day meaning 6PM Thursday. FSU isn’t gonna break the bank against themselves. If he’s trying to leverage for more money, Miami has to be in the picture. We don’t hold all the cards but we can in a way force Ward to play on our timeline.

Howard may be told something different by the staff. If the message they are relaying is we have one spot and we are seeing who fits that spot best maybe he believes it. I personally doubt it, but we don’t know.

Regardless what is going on, I’d make Ward my best offer by noon his time. Tell him he’s got three hours. If not we’re out. All of that is contingent on Howard saying he wants in.
