Miami paid jacuzzi a sum of money to stay and play in this game. He isn't bolting two days before the game because ward announces and lose that money. JB knows Miami doesn't want him to be the starter next year. Smh.

Who cares when he announces? Once he didn’t announce before ESD it no longer mattered. Miami got the class they needed now just get a QB whenever it doesn’t even matter for real. As long as they have one before the next transfer window opens to keep current WR on the roster that’s all that matters .

Why would the bowl game have any implication on Ward’s announcement? JB needs game film for the portal, he has no impact on Ward’s decision. Whether Ward comes or not, JB isn’t starting here next year. It’s a completely mute point.
This is just CIS rationalizing the timeline. There is no “distraction” from the bowl game if Ward announces between now and the 28th.
