It is but to put a positive spin on it all, the staff did what they needed here. They identified their guy(s), made no joke offers and now they are just waiting. I believe that the QB narrative is what is giving Ward cold feet but you can’t do anything about that now. At least we didn’t try to go get a DJ or Pratt and shot our shot.
