Shoulda just pulled in Howard, who by all accounts actually really wanted to be here and is a great leader. At this point it feels like even if Ward does come, its only because of the money. We apparently put a very solid offer out there, he has history with some coaches, he came on an official visit etc and just couldnt pull the trigger. At that point, you move on.

Early on, the NFL option was hardly mentioned. The first time I saw it was when Ward SR mentioned it. That threw a completely different perspective on everything.

That is what makes me think it is all about the $$, in which case, I'd rather have Howard

Gaby just put out an article highlighting how the staff has respect and have been intrigue in KJ jefferson. For now they are focused on Cam Ward and Will Howard but it seems KJ is the QB3 option.....

I prefer KJ over the first 2 anyway. Close to Ward on my list.

Especially if Ward has us by the balls like it seems.

The way they’ve handled this situation and the timing of the portal windows… we won’t have a starting caliber WR left on the roster by the time the dead period lifts if there’s no QB so it’s pretty pointless to have a 3rd option unless KJ will commit without visiting

We took TVD, a guy that killed it in a spread out, RPO, get to the line and don’t think about it offense, and huddled up before every play and bunched the line of scrimmage like we were trying to form a Spartan Phalanx.

We aren’t going to run anything close to what KJ ran under Briles.
