Looks like Dabo put the pressure on. Now the kid is saying a commitment will be coming in the next few days.... Not going to do any more visiting and wait until summer like he said the other day...

It's so interesting how they can outright tell a kid, "we like you, but we think someone else is better" and the moment we don't offer a kid the day after their 11th birthday, we're not recruiting them hard enough. This kid is Clemson's sloppy second, he knows it, and he's cool with it.

Canes coaches wouldn't be allowed within 30 miles of the school if they did that lol
 
Is what it is. When you have clout and set up residency in the playoffs this is what you’re allowed to do. Clemson also has a very unique culture to sell that Dabo was able to build with time

QB recruiting is just different

You know you're in the bag game when you don't even have to recruit a prospect in order to get a commitment. Same thing with the 5 star linebacker Simpson who flipped from UNC. They whiffed on Flowe then immediately got a commitment from Simpson.

I was always under the impression that the best strategy was to completely ignore your backup options until a week or two before ESD, then hit them up with “Hey what’s up big head” in the middle of the night after all your other options choose to go elsewhere
