Pylon 7on7 Tidbits Per 247

Greene and Bandy are both very talented players and I hope they end up being Canes. It's always annoying when the consensus view of a particular recruit wavers drastically based on the staff's perceived interest in them.

Local baller is supposedly showing heavy interest in Miami? They're a must get. But if that same player isn't made a priority due to size despite being pursued heavily by many other top programs? They're suddenly "average" or "below average" as Greene was ludicrously labeled earlier in the thread.

Very few will bat an eye if we pass on Greene/Bandy while landing several other elite WRs/CBs. But it's laughable for certain posters to downplay the abilities of someone like Greene after reading that 247 update when they'd be the same ones hyping him up like crazy if he commits here down the line. The lack of consistency is ridiculous.

I wasn't talking about Greene when I said average and below average recruits. I was talking about roberts. I think Greene is big time.

A few posters were acting like there is no way roberts can be dropped. He will end up at a mid tier program and isn't someone who can't be replaced or upgraded.

A giant article about all these bigtime players the staff is all over and the only thing people want to talk about is some little blurb from Greene.

****ing people baffle me.

What does that tell you? Hes that good. Look..if we ever want to go toe to toe with the elite teams (FSU, ALA, OSU, etc)..you cant keep losing kids like this and/or slow playing them.

I personally saw this kids route tree at a combine in Orlando last year and this kid can run routes at an elite level for his age. And he gets in and out of his routes at an elite level. Im telling you what I know. I didnt even know who the **** Ben Victor, Malik Young and Trayvon Mullen were when I saw CocoCreek play twice 2 years ago when Greene was there as a sophomore. Greene was the one making all the plays!

Im not down on Richt. His recruiting track record speaks for itself.
I agree and that's part of my point, though I didn't really explain.

If Greene is that good, which I think he is too, do we really think Richt doesn't know about him or won't bother? Nah. It's a staff turnover. They are trying to do a million things right now. We are obviously pounding the trail based on the reports so to immediately complain about one simple comment from a kid is just ridiculous to me.

But whatever. After the the last few years, our fans can't help but ***** about absolutely everything.

I agree with what you are saying. If the "football gods" only give you 5 calls to make to kids in the 2017 class and thats it....Greene better be one of them. Along with Wilder, Slaton, Ford, and Burns. Jeudy would be right there too.. JMO.
