Veteran ProCane CB Michael Jackson III is headed east.

The Seattle Seahawks sent Jackson to the Carolina Panthers for rookie linebacker Michael Barrett.

The 27-year-old Jackson is entering his sixth year as a pro. He's started 21 games the past two years for the Seahawks.

His best season was 2022, where he participated in all 17 games, accumulating 75 tackles, one interception, and 12 passes defended.

Jackson was originally drafted in the fifth round by the Dallas Cowboys...

Wow decent stats! Why oh why did my Cowboys ever get rid of him
 
I keep forgetting about him... Who was the other corner we had opposite of him.. I still remember Nick Saban saying we probably got the best talent before that ND game

Dude, Michael Jackson. What a story. Played amazing for us and had an NFL frame but somehow couldn't find his footing early in his career.

Brother had 17 pass deflections on a horrible team. Kid is quietly sitting in the pro bowl tier. Legend. And a great dad / family guy.

I couldn't be a bigger fan of his story!

I went to 2 Panther’s games this season (my buddy is a season ticket holder and invites me). Both games he was making plays. One of the few bright spots on their team.
