Pringle too?

Pretty sure it's been implied by a few that Allen is definitely gone and that's why they stopped playing him. Wouldn't surprise me if Johnson left too. I like Fletcher and Lyle but a 3rd proven guy would be nice
fletcher is okay to me. nothing special but good player.

lyle has burst the others dont.

there is a reason we paid DM big money to transfer here.

If Tim Harris gets the FIU job it would be a good spot for Chris Johnson. There's no NIL so he'd have a decision to make but I think he's a kid that needs to go somewhere to get touches. He's not going to develop and blossom without experience and learning on the fly being thrown into the fire.

You cant lose 3 experienced RBs.

We had great health at RB, but you go into a season with only 2-3 RBs you are asking for injuries.

We’ll miss Martinez. Might’ve been the most over scrutinized player we’ve ever had here. He’s a really good running back who I promise the board will say “I wish we still had Martinez”. Guy is a talented physical back. And btw this offense does no running back any favors. Martinez was producing in the least imaginative run scheme in America. It’ll be obvious next year he was our best back.

Martinez was a stud for Miami this season. Delivered time and time again even though he didn’t get a usual #1 rb workload. I’ll miss him

We ran him outside the tackles twice all year - one was when he bulldozed that UF defender, the other last week when he got like 16-18 yards on Cuse.

As much as I loved what Dawson did 95% of the time this year, the man refused to tailor his run game to Martinez’s strengths. And he still was clearly our best back.

You have to get him in space and let him truck dudes, he never goes down at first contact. It’s amazing really.

Think he was taken for granted for sure. Dawson the savior letting him touch the ball 10 times for 8 yards a carry in our most important game in a decade. All so south Florida could get some touches. I’m ranting but Martinez was really good for us

Idk if it’s just the Miami way or it’s Mario or what but our run schemes suck every year. I don’t understand it.

Florida has 3 RBs committed with Louis, Clark and Gasper. They ain’t flipping him.

According to Gaby

Merritt to Tennessee
Nix to Oregon.
Moore to Miami.
I’m surprised Mario didn’t have the right information to keep Nix committed unless the kid wanted to hear that there wouldn’t be any staff changes. If that’s what he wanted then you let him go and wish him the best.
