Prince Strachan, WR, Boise State

He has strong hands, the question is does he have the athleticism and route running to separate. Looks to have potential, but def not WR1

If schollies were tight, no

But with the extra 20 scholarships, I don’t see why taking him hurts. Low risk high reward

This ^^

We are trying to build the WR back up and diversify style/body type. We need size after losing Young, Young, and especially Horton over the last year. Daniels gives us some but we need a jump ball type.

He's not WR1 we know this.

The entire WR room is unproven and has question marks. Beard is going to earn his paycheck this off season. In addition, guys need to step up or go somewhere else. I'm assuming the coaches are looking at this guy to give us some balance in the room and a bigger target to somewhat replace Horton's role.

As long as he’s not wanting a huge NIL or anything guaranteed like a starting spot why not bring him in… more competition to let the best players rise to the top

Might be less of a flyer than taking Young out of juco a few years ago. Tall receivers seem to be developing here in recent years
