They're doing continuous interviews. The sign outside of Hecht must be working: Head Coach Wanted. Must Have Own Balls.

He was a favorite for the job after Golden was fired.

Plus, he's had more experience interviewing for college jobs than Butch has had over the past 2 seasons ...
 
All the top candidates were very, very impressive, but one stood out. Ladies, gentlemen and Cane family everywhere here is Butch Davis, our new HC.

since we know Butch will take it, why would we take any of the others?

only guy I'd take over Butch is Chip Kelly. Mullen I think could do very well too. do not want Richt. might be worse than Schiano
 
Butch and Schiano seem tied to the hip. Would not be surrpised of a 2 fer in the works for the price of 1 (4 million dollar coach)

he might be the worst of the four but this is no Al Golden. he is a guy that the NFL thought enough of to give a shot at HC. clearly it didn't work but it didn't work for Butch, Saban or Pete Carroll. the guy was a pretty decent coach at Rotgers and really had nothing to work with.

Cristobal was his lead recruiter. I like him as Butch Davis DC.
 
The thought of Schiano chopping wood in Miami has me all shook up. These ******** hired Al Golden and extended him so this shouldn't surprise us that Schiano is in the running.
 
I was excited about this hire, honestly could get on board with Butch. Happy about any of the guys we've been seriously discussing today.....and then this. Please, someone talk me down off the ledge. Tell me Feldman knows ****. That Feldman thought Mario was a serious candidate. Or that Chimp impressing them doesn't mean he'll get the job. Please.
