The funny thing Pete is the Canes recruiting efforts are relentless despite the dark cloud over the Universities head. Just Imagine if that was not the case this class would be extraodinary. This leads me to believe Al is an A+ recruiter, heck look what he produce at Temple there are a few names that slip my mind but Bernard Pierce of the Ravens is one.

Al has proven he can recruit with the best of them.

Now he's just gotta turn that talent into a well oiled machine.

I suspect this as well. Feeling I got when he was here that he was less than excited. Its the same feeling you see other recruits express when they have been told that play time is over, and their offers are being pulled, or that the staff may be leaning in other directions now.

I get the feeling that the staff has given up on KB. I think they will take him if he wants in, but I dont think they are counting on him, and are probably banking on just taking Bostwick and Ufomba and calling it a day, which I can live with if Botwick quals. Collins and Thomas would be the crown jewels of this class. I dont see us getting Coley.

If the staff moved on from a kid why would they allow an OV? This staff is too focused and smart to do that.

A lot of people have asked me for my predictions, so here they are AS OF RIGHT NOW. They are subject to change and some of them probably will change as we get closer to signing day.

What you guys have to understand on Keith is he is not going to tip his hand at this point. Anything you see or read on him is worthless right now because even when he does interviews, he's not being opening his mouth much.

every word that comes out of his mouth or off the keyboard is designed to troll everyone who is following him. Doesnt matter who he is talking to, its not real talk. I think only he and his mom (maybe not even her --- Remember Antone Smith?) know where he is going. I find it hilarious the Noles think hes a done deal to them when this guy lives to troll. Its really the only reason I think he inks with us in the end.....

i feel better about Robinson then i do about Coley for some reason. But i would MUCH rather have Coley!! He will imediately be the most talented WR on our roster and nightmare returning kickoffs with Duke!

Im not saying they flat out pulled his scholie, but maybe they just arent playing his game anymore and are like "if he comes, great, if not, whatever", and are working on other options. Wasnt it reported that the coaches werent really spending much time with him with weekend or showing him nearly the attention that they were to other guys? There are ways to show a kid that "were kind of done with your bullsh8t". Again, just a feeling I get. Reminds me a lot of the Antone Smith debacle. Reports from his OV were very similar. People that saw him reported that he didnt look like he was having a very good time or fitting in, supposedly had some words with current players too. These kids know the deal man. They know when some kid is jerking us around. I just get the feel that the whole program here has given up on KB, and he knows it. I think he ends up at FSU. I could be wrong, and I HOPE Im wrong, but Ive been following this sh*t for close to 30 years now, and its just starting to feel like Ive seen this movie before.

But 80% of the time, all the signs turn out to be correct, and the kid screws us, as it was plainly obvious all along he was going to be.

Im not buying this whole "he's trolling everyone" stuff. Im sure he wants attention, and Im sure he's having fun with is like most of these kids are, but you guys ignore the warning signs at your own peril. IVe seen this movie too many times before. I hope Im wrong, but in recruiting, where there is smoke, it usually DOES mean there is fire, even after all the B.S.

Thing with the kid has never really swayed me personally. Everyone assumes he wants to stay here for the kid, but I think you can look at it just the opposite. He's a young dude, and could be easily thinking "do I want to spend the next 4 years of college having to change diapers and deal with my baby momma every weekend, or go out and party and chase tail and live it up in some college town. Im not sure why everyone assumes the guy wants to be close to his kid, he sure as **** wouldnt be the first young guy to want to put as much distance between himself and his responsibilities as he can.

I agree with you i just don't see us landing Coley. However if you think we are Pete then i will gladly accept that and take your word for it lol. Another one i think we have a shot at however, is Robinson. I could be way off but i just have a feeling, really not based on any factual material, that he will be a CANE.
