You’re trying to turn this into something else in order to prove that you’re right. You listed a bunch of factual statements - that I agree with - as a straw man argument (look it up - it’s exactly what you did). Then you proved my point at then end - Das Poöp Tart Bowl is meaningless - using false logic. We were in contention for a CFP spot up until the Syracuse loss. This leads me to this conclusion - your definition of meaningful/meaningless is not the same as mine. I can live with that.
 
IMO, every game matters. First, going 11 wins is a statement in and of itself. Second, the team gets this whole time to practice together. Lots of young guys that need to step up next season are getting their audition right now on Greentree.

Third, that Iowa State QB is a really really good QB. He's too careless with the football at this stage, but still has two more years to go. He's from Florida, and I'd take him over Mendoza in a heartbeat. Much more mobile. Good opportunity to make contact with him lol.

Every game is meaningful .... especially playing in a bowl game on national TV. A win is needed by Mario and the staff ... it will definitely help with recruiting and overall momentum for this program.

There’s a lot of straw man arguments going on, this game is 100% meaningless in the context of our particular season THIS year. I would argue without a cam ward on the team this game means much more because it shows optimism going into the next season. Our optimism is going first in the draft. That said I don’t care about draft picks opting out. If your argument is why are guys in the playoffs still playing keep in mind CJ stroud soared to the top of boards mostly because of his UGA performance. The playoffs matter

It's the last chance I get to watch Canes football for 9 months. That's not meaningless. They were smart to put the bowl games as late as they did so people like me who said, "I'm never watching this **** again.", after the Syracuse game forget enough and still need a fix.

If you think every game is meaningful, that's fine. However, considering we just had ESD, I'm not buying the helping with recruiting thing. Maybe with the portal? Maybe? I think bags help a whole lot more than a Pop Tart toaster trophy.

Nothing. I made a comment that I think this bowl game is meaningless. You don't thnk it's meaningless. You tried to show me using a straw man argument where you present unrelated, yet indisputable statements in an attempt to show that the game is meaningful. That's exactly what I'll do.
I'll enjoy it even more if I get to see Cam Ward play again for my Canes.
See, I'm a fan, I stand to lose nor gain absolutely nothing if the best players on our team play, or not.
But as a fan, I tend to enjoy it more when our best players are on the field.

But if it would male you feel better if I said that I agree with what you're saying, so be it. You seem to be a lot more emotional about this than most.
