PRACTICE THREAD - SUNDAY 8/24

You guys all seem to down play Edwards talent! He's 230 and ran a faster 40 then Yearby (4.55), I think he improves on a solid freshman campaign, makes some real noise and becomes UM's short yardage and goal line back!

This! /\ /\

Dude has exclusively been coached up on lowering his pad level. And at that speed (even if straight line) with 235 lbs, it's pure-fueled motion that can really tire out defenders. Follow that up with even more speed and shiftiness (Duke) and ankle breaking cuts (Yearby), then you'll have a defense on its heels. I like our chance with Gus, Duke, & Joe.

Thanks to Prez 52, Gus has been deemed a sleeper. Dudes got skills, does the opponent have a Perryman?

Yeah nothing important about a QB, Tim

That fat ****** hasn't realized that his full-time job of talking about college kids exercising wouldn't exist if fans weren't interested in the sport. All that guy does is whine about fans. **** that fat piece of ****.

cant imagine why a fanbase that has gone through so many ups and downs at QB over the last decade would be so concerned with a true freshman coming in and holding his own within a couple of practices. We are all so weird I tell ya.

I will be fully erect if Kaaya is named the starter.

If its Heaps.....i'll just be praying for a W.

There's just no way Kaaya is the starter. No way. We all know Golden well enough to say that Heaps is going to be the starter. His style is more conservative to go with the guy with experience rather than the guy with upside in this situation. It's unfair to give the start to Kaaya because he isn't familiar with the speed of the game at the collegiate level and to have his first game on the road in a hostile environment on national TV is just cruel. They'll go with Heaps, but I think they're trying to reward Kaaya for coming in so well-prepared.

Gus is talented. I like what I saw from him last year. Hopefully he gets a spot at fullback, because I agree that there is significant talent coming in. Get the best 11 guys on the field.
