which is what he's doing right now... this scheme requires linebackers that are adept in coverage. that is why you see them taking more linebackers that have experience in pass coverage or have safety experience (young, owens, grace, figueroa, etc). Thus, Grace will most likely be the lb on the slot recievers making him a defacto hybrid nickel LB

It was was Randy's job before the staff took over and they failed miserably. The talent level is getting back to where it should be correct? There was an NCAA investigation the staff has been working through which brought on negative recruiting from programs that were winning the past decade correct?

If only the program could have you geniuses as the HC.

So he has a nice burst without the ball? Does he immediately fumble? Run the wrong way? Fall down? Hand the ball to the official when he gets it?

I think Pete may be speaking in terms of his vision, and field-feel when he gets the ball. It's not natural for anybody who touches the ball to navigate the field like Duke does. It's an internal thing that I think he can develop with more touches and exposure to the situation. Just keep feeding him, he'll figure it out.
