Jordan Travis from Benjamin in Palm Beach is transferring from the Louisville dumpster fire.
Maybe as QB depth, he'll have some years of eligibility left as well.

Might be worth looking into.
Not just him, but their entire class. I'm sure they've got some kids who are prolly looking elsewhere. I'd bet UK is tryna poach their commits, we need to do the same if anybody is Miami caliber.

I would absolutely take Jordan Travis & their 2019 QB commit Jaden Johnson.

I posted about him back in July https://www.canesinsight.com/threads/possible-qb-options-for-the-‘19-class.134834/#post-3363048

LVille also has a bunch of Fla kids on their roster, Tutu Atwell has been one of the only productive players for them with 20rec 347yds & 2TD's on the season.

They also have kids like Chandler Jones & Robert Hicks from Central, Trenell Troutman & Yasir Abdullah. I'm not saying all of them are transfer takes or anything, but maybe if one of them wanted to come back home I think we would have room on the roster.

TuTu Atwell is featured in that documentary Liberty City Warriors. He played QB in HS I believe? Was a real scrappy guy from what I saw in the film.

Louisville freshman QB Jordan Travis will transfer.
This is not another case of a mid-season transfer that has to do with the NCAA's new redshirt rule, as Travis will have to sit next season if he transfers to another FBS program. Travis had made three appearances off the bench this season and looked promising enough. "Jordan Travis approached me Tuesday about transferring, and we had a productive discussion about his future," HC Bobby Petrino said in a statement. "He talked about the possibility of getting closer to home and his family, and we agreed that it might be a better situation for him personally." Travis grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. With his departure, the Cardinals are now down to two scholarship quarterbacks on the roster in Jawon Pass and Malik Cunningham.

Completely agree on all of the above post.

I liked him last year and couldn't understand, for the life of me, why father and son Richt were completely ignoring a nice-sized, athletic, good arm-talent QB from down the street, who seemed to be a good character kid with a good family background. It just didn't make sense to me then, and it doesn't now. If they don't contact him this time around, I don't know man...
And ditto on the rest of the local kids at Louisville.

My pops played at Louisville for 1 year in the 70s. He's from Broward. He HATED it. Said it was like going back in time. Of course Kentucky in the 70s and Kentucky today are a lil different but still. I'm sure some of those kids would GLADLY come home if Miami welcomed them.

That is a GREAT sign. I hope this works out for us. I don't want to see him at Kiffin U when we need all the help we can get.

He was MNW's QB & won them a State title last year.

He's been a local legend since little league ball, always the fastest player on the field. He got moved to WR in college because of his speed & lack of typical QB size being only 5'9 160lbs, but he actually has a pretty nice arm.

If he wants to come back home to Miami we should 100% accept the transfer, the kid is a pure playmaker & can be used all over the field.

Could use him in trick plays like BC did with that converted QB

SHOULD OF OFFERED tRAVIS LAST YEAR ACTUALLY.

Tu Tu has shown he is a solid wr...he is better than Mike Harley currently. I dont think he is transferring or anything but i always like Tu Tu. His dad was a good wr in college as well. Tu Tu is basically Roscoe Parrish lite

I've read some possible justin fields smoke out there.

We'll see what happens, but the transfer/non restriction rules have changed the way the crootin game will be played from now on. Recruiting just isn't for HS kids anymore. You need to somehow/someway recruit the kids who want to transfer from other programs.

A 2 star rookie qb just lit up the raiders.
We should be looking at some freshman or sophomore in some lower conference that is breaking records a and putting on a clinic than trying to find a p5 reject.

Right now even Rosier would lit up the Raiders
