I believe you need a strong top 4 group but hey if they get him we should go after Mbake, or if UGA get those corners we should go after Ellis Robinson

Alderman’s update on Poyser, fwiw.

“He's made trips to LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and Miami since going in the portal this past Monday. He's previously mentoned today and Wednesday as decsion dates, but the latest check with him was he plans to annouce on Wednesday. From what I've gathered so far, all five of the schools he's visited still feel like they are in the race. He's a guy that wasn't as heavily recruited out of HS as his is as a transfer, so it makes sense this boom of interest is a lot to take in, especially being a guy who has a 2 week window to try and navigate through everything.

LSU and Miami are two team's that I've had mentioned to me the most. But from checking things on the UF, Auburn, and Georgia side, they don't feel like they are out of it. They just are not schools I've had mentioned to me as much as LSU and Miami so far. Sounds like both LSU and Miami view each other as their main competiton. Miami has been a common denominator as the team viewed as the biggest competition as I ask around.

Did check around this morning on where things are on the UF side, and was told they like where they sit. But as I've asked around on the other schools that have hosted him, they have similar feelings of optimism (some more strong than others) towards their own school.

When checking this morning on things, there wasn't a set time to announce tomorrow. He was still bouncing around his options last night, and the plan I was told is he wants to have things settled by the end of today, so he can be ready to announce tomorrow.”
 
Poyser is a must, this was in the bag two days ago. Good film, multiple years of eligibility, great coverage grades, big play ability on defense (3 TDs)…

And I’m sick of hearing blame on Guidry. Guess what Mario - if he’s the problem…FIRE HIM. You’re the head coach. The blame and credit all goes towards you. You are the head huncho, the shot caller.

Stop blaming Dennis Smith or Guidry and anyone else. Mario gets the credit around here when things go right, but no blame. He deserves both.

The only two players in the defensive backfield that have a likely spot in the rotation are OJFred and Zaquan Patterson. Everyone else can be recruited over, even the aforementioned two. Poyser fills a spot.

But we have a few more spots to go.
