I still want Mario to take one more DB. Not sure which position. Maybe a swing guy who can play multiple. Don't take chances. Fix the position group once and for all, even if it means a couple of guys on current roster are disgruntled.

I do kind of like the idea of having the pups compete at certain positions in spring and then going to the portal if no one emerges.

Edge rusher…see if any of the young guys can emerge.

Nickel corner…Ryan Mack and whichever other guys I’m blanking on…only concern here is we might not have enough depth to even make this a real comp.

Guard…let Kinsler, McCoy, Cooper, Rodriguez fight

Tight End…not sure on EE status of Gilbert and Schott but if they’ll be here, open it up to those two and the guys already on campus.

My gut is we probably end up needing 3/4 in the spring portal but given how unseriously we take spring ball these days, might as well open these spots to internal dudes first if we can’t entice any obvious upgrades this window.

No big loss here for me. He does tackle so that would have improved our box. Lucas will be the 3rd DB, allegedly. I think we are still looking for a Nickel and S. We need to still hit on these last 2. If we hit with all these DB's, the Spring portal shall be interesting.
